The ÐÇ¿Õ´«Ã½ Chapter of the University System of Maryland Women’s Forum is dedicated to creating a cultural shift towards gender equality.

Actively addressing women’s issues and empowering those in our campus community who identify as female.

The ÐÇ¿Õ´«Ã½ Chapter of the University System of Maryland Women’s Forum is dedicated to creating a cultural shift towards gender equality. The chapter is committed to specific initiatives on a year-round basis as well as a broad-scale vision of what those initiates represent: commitment to the empowerment of women, confrontation with women’s issues, clear goals for addressing those same issues through identifiable initiatives, creating a safe space for women on campus, and inviting both women and men to become part of a more respectful, more truly democratic embracement of all people who identify as female. The chapter is also committed to working with other initiatives on campus that promote diversity with a view to progressive change. The chapter recognizes the diversity of perspectives within the group that identifies as female, and thus promotes and supports all events related to its central mission.
